A leading transport service provider in Mississauga is seeking a Truck Driver to operate vehicles, arrange travel, and perform inspections. Candidates must have a secondary school graduation certificate and prefer 7 months to less than a year of experience. The role requires a valid driver's licence and may involve handling weights up to 23 kg. This is a full-time permanent position located at the physical work site.

- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Pay and receive payments for goods
- Perform brake adjustments
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
- Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
- Criminal record check
- Valid driver's licence
