A healthcare organization is seeking a Coding Auditor and Provider Educator to conduct coding audits, develop educational programs, and assist in compliance investigations. The ideal candidate has significant experience in medical coding and auditing, along with certifications such as CPC and CPMA. This remote role requires strong knowledge of coding standards and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA) required.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in medical coding, with 3-5 years in auditing and education.
- Extensive knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding systems and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
