Fortinet is seeking experienced QA Engineers to join our FortiCASB team. As part of the Cloud Security QA team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, security, and reliability of our SaaS-based cloud security platform. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and security teams to design and execute test plans, automate testing processes, and validate cloud security functionalities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for the FortiCASB SaaS platform
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure product quality
• Design and implement automated test frameworks and test scripts using Python
• Test cloud security features, including cloud data protection, compliance enforcement, and threat detection
• Validate API functionalities, microservices, and cloud-based system integrations
• Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with development teams for resolution
• Conduct **scalability, reliability, and security testing** in a distributed cloud environment
• Participate in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) testing

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Three or more years of experience in QA engineering, software testing, or test automation
• Strong experience in test automation frameworks (Selenium, PyTest, JUnit, TestNG, or similar)
• Proficiency in Python for test automation development
• Familiarity with cloud-based security solutions, preferably CASB, DLP, or SIEM products
• Experience testing SaaS platforms and cloud-native applications
• Understanding of REST APIs, authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML), and microservices architecture
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a commitment to software quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of cloud security compliance frameworks such as SOC2, NIST, and GDPR
• Hands-on experience with performance and security testing tools
• Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, or Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) testing
• Experience with log analysis and monitoring tools such as Elasticsearch, Kibana, or Splunk

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $95,000 - $130,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
