APPLICATION DEVELOPER

GavinHeath is partnering with a client in Ontario, Canada looking to add an Application Developer to their team. The role is a Direct Hire position. This role is 100% remote, but candidates must reside in the Province of Ontario, Canada.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our development team to design, develop, and implement new features using C#. Net, Rest API's, TSQL/SQL, VB.Net, ASP.NET, AWS, Web Forms, Angular and other modern technologies.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Ensure the best possible performance, scalability, and reliability of the application.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our coding standards and practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in web development and recommend new approaches and solutions as appropriate.

Qualifications:

• 1 - 3 years of experience writing SQL queries and stored procedures in T-SQL and SQL.
• 1 - 3 years of experience with the following (or similar): AngularJS, VB.Net, Web Forms.
• Strong knowledge of C#.NET and VB.NET along with modern web development technologies.
• Experience with large enterprise applications and complex systems.
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Experience with software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
• Development will include creation of, and enhancements to, front end web forms, APIs, SQL stored procedures, and other related technologies.
