A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Software Installation Specialist for a part-time contract in Sherbrooke. Responsibilities include deploying and configuring software for QPUs and implementing testing strategies. We are recruiting a Software Installation Specialist to deploy and commission the OS that controls our QPUs (Quantum Processing Units). You will interface with a set of hardware devices to supervise, control, and acquire data from them and be responsible for sequencing and automating the required actions, as well as being the main entry point for quantum processors, both for external users and for client engineers to operate and maintain the QPUs.
Software Installation Specialist — 4 months contract, part-time (3 days/week for 4 months, 8 hours/day).
Location: Sherbrooke. On-site presence preferred; on-site frequency: minimum 3 days per week (Wednesday to Friday).
Linguistic requirements: Bilingualism (English and French) is a strong asset. Years of experience: at least 5 years in software development and integration interfacing with hardware equipment.
