A leading consulting firm seeks an Electrical Designer with expertise in commercial and residential electrical systems. The role involves project management, collaborating with clients, and ensuring adherence to specifications. Candidates should have a strong electrical engineering background and at least 5 years of relevant experience. The company values diversity and offers a supportive workplace.
Provides consulting services requiring electrical engineering expertise for commercial, retail, and high-rise residential buildings. May be responsible for project management and technical oversight of multiple projects. Evaluates and reviews design and field engineering changes; ensures work quality and adherence to specifications; and performs related duties as assigned.

Physical Demands, Overtime, and Travel Requirements
Physical Demands - Work is performed in an office setting and at outdoor field locations (i.e., Client’s office, industrial, construction, and/or residential sites). The employee is frequently required to walk through properties (i.e., commercial and residential) for full and proper assessment of electrical-related damage. Employees must also stand, walk on slope roofs, sit, climb ladders, bend, climb inside attics and crawl under homes and tunnels, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and drive a motor vehicle to job sites. The employee will be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must be sharp, focused, and alert when conducting site inspections, speaking and interacting with clients, preparing written reports of findings, and testifying in deposition or trial. Clear vision and depth perception are also necessary.
Overtime - There will be periods where overtime will be required, which the employee will need to comply with to meet the demands of the position.
Travel Requirements - This position requires up to 25% travel.
