VIA Rail is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their team in Montreal. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing configuration changes to rolling stock and refurbishment programs. This role requires a degree in electrical engineering and at least 5 years of experience in the field. As part of the team, you'll support the development of safe and efficient rail transport systems while collaborating with various departments to ensure technical excellence.

Reporting to the senior manager engineering, the electrical engineer will be responsible for configuration changes to rolling stock and the refurbishment programs of electrical, electronic, and instrumentation & control systems. They will also serve as an intermediary between various stakeholders, such as workshop personnel, procurement, and operations, providing technical support.
