A hospitality management company in Alberta seeks a leader to oversee resort operations, ensuring a high-quality guest experience while managing cross-functional teams. Candidates should have over 8 years of experience in hospitality, proven skills in project management, and expertise in Clover POS and WebRez Pro. This exciting role offers relocation support and competitive compensation within a unique mountainous environment.
Oversee daily operations across Food & Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Guest Services.
Build, train, and develop a cohesive and service-driven team in a startup-style environment.
Establish operational standards and SOPs suited to a remote, year-round mountain resort.
Ensure consistent delivery of warm, memorable guest experiences.
Implement and refine operational systems, workflows, and processes.
Partner closely with the Executive Director on the phased rollout and upcoming full relaunch.
Coordinate with contractors, inspectors, and vendors on infrastructure improvements.
Maintain operational readiness throughout construction phases and partial openings.
Support scheduling, reporting, and risk mitigation for activation and capital projects.
Serve as the internal expert for Clover POS and WebRez Pro PMS, including setup, configuration, reporting, training, and troubleshooting.
Ensure accurate reservations, payment processing, inventory management, and financial workflows.
Maintain digital systems and support implementation of new tech tools.
Assist the ED with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for 2026 and beyond.
Monitor labour controls, operational spending, and revenue performance.
Prepare operational reports, dashboards, and summaries for ownership.
Ensure compliance with all labour, environmental, safety, and insurance requirements.
Model the resort’s hospitality values in all guest and team interactions.
Resolve escalated guest concerns with professionalism and a solutions-oriented mindset.
Maintain high quality standards across accommodations, dining outlets, amenities, and grounds.
Oversee staff training, workplace safety programs, and emergency procedures.
Ensure safe operation of resort vehicles and equipment by trained, insured personnel only.
Support the implementation of housing, conduct, and drug & alcohol policies.
Serve as the on-site operational lead and primary liaison to the Executive Director.
Maintain open, consistent communication across departments and with ownership.
Contribute to strategic planning, marketing alignment, and overall brand direction.
Perform additional duties as needed to support operational success.
8+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, resorts, or remote operations.
Proven experience managing cross-functional teams (F&B, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Front Office).
Expert proficiency with Clover POS and WebRez Pro, including configuration and reporting.
Strong project management capabilities in fast-paced or startup-style environments.
Exceptional communication, organizational ability, and professional integrity.
Ability to live and work full-time in a remote mountain environment.
Experience with capital projects, infrastructure upgrades, or multi-phase openings.
Knowledge of Alberta’s tourism industry and remote resort operations.
Strong budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting skills.
