As the Senior Advisor for Aluminium Marketing, you will support the Product Marketing Strategy team in managing long-term product strategies and representing the voice of customers and industry for investments across the global electrolytic system. Your role involves analyzing market trends (e.g., recycling, low-carbon processes), setting R&D and investment priorities, advising sales teams, and fostering partnerships within the Aluminium group.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Aluminium Marketing, your responsibilities include:
- Understanding and communicating the key value drivers for Aluminium and Commercial product groups.
- Analyzing markets related to these products: competition, pricing, supply, demand, disruptors, etc.
- Developing market insights to shape the go-to-market strategy, including defining product/service portfolios, target markets, value propositions, pricing policies, and brand management.
- Contributing to the ongoing development of marketing strategies and plans for Aluminium.
- Representing industry and customer perspectives to refine marketing strategies, operations, and R&D activities.
- Creating communication materials that effectively convey the organization's narrative to stakeholders.
- Leading and participating in improvement projects, such as integrating new systems or developing marketing programs like START.
Your profile
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, business administration, or engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Master’s degree or MBA is an asset.
- Experience in consulting, branding, or ESG is an asset.
- Fluent in French and English, both oral and written.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting across all organizational levels.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work with diverse cultures and international teams.
- Knowledge of the aluminium industry and profitability drivers.
- Willingness to travel 5-20% of the time.
