A leading provider of industrial real estate in Toronto is looking for a lawyer to join its legal department. The role involves acting as a business advisor, leading transactions related to property acquisitions and sales, and providing legal support across various business units. Candidates should have at least 7 years of experience in transactional real estate, be bilingual, and hold membership in the Quebec or Ontario Bar. This position offers a chance to integrate new technology tools and optimize legal processes.

To better meet its growing needs, Pure is looking to add a lawyer to its legal department, which currently consists of around ten professionals.
Reporting to the Vice President, Legal Affairs and ESG, you will act as a true business advisor and play a strategic role within the organization. A significant portion of your time will be devoted to transactional matters, including property acquisitions and sales, financing, partnerships, and more. You will be responsible for leading transactions as well as drafting and negotiating related documentation, in collaboration with external counsel. You will also provide legal support to various business units, including operations, development, and asset management, while contributing to the modernization of the legal function through the integration of new technology tools and process optimization. Additionally, you will be involved in corporate governance and compliance, and provide support in connection with claims and litigation.
