Job summary

Overview

The successful candidate will possess the ability to perform ergonomic assessments, POETs, work hardening, and facilitate FCEs. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a team of clinicians and exposure to complex occupational rehab cases. Location: 12080 Nordel Way, Surrey, BC, V3W 1P6
Schedule: Monday to Friday 11:30 am to 6:00 pm
Status: Permanent Full Time
Mandatory requirements: Registered KIN

Responsibilities
  • Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under the mentorship and direction of a physiotherapist
  • Design, implement and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and/or work hardening programs
  • Perform biweekly reassessment of client progress through functional testing
  • Record functional and subjective findings in client charts on a regular basis
  • Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals
  • Conduct group orientation and education lectures and regular one-on-one education to clients
  • Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress and discharge
  • Ensure return to work plans with client and employer have been made and documented in the client chart
Qualifications
  • Graduate of university Kinesiology degree program
  • 2+ years of experience considered an asset
  • Registration with the appropriate Provincial governing body for Kinesiologists is required
