We are currently seeking a Universal Concierge Advisor to join the legacy connectFirst Fort Macleod team!
Key Accountabilities:
- Deliver exceptional member service to build trust and provide responsive support, ensuring members receive personalized solutions while aligning with the credit union's interests.
- Handle various cash and non-cash transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, account updates, balances, money orders, credit card advances, foreign and domestic exchange calculations, cheque cashing, electronic funds transfers, and account closures.
- Establish trust with members, resolve routine account issues, and refer complex inquiries to appropriate personnel.
- Follow policies and procedures to meet safety, legal, and privacy standards.
- Maintain area and internal security, including audits.
- Educate members on using digital and self-serve channels to enhance convenience.
- Support branch team activities, including member outreach, correspondence, compliance, audit activities, ATM and night deposit processing, and report reconciliation.
- Assist with opening and closing branch duties, balancing transactions, reconciling ATM and deposit contents, and managing cash services with risk controls.
- Serve as joint custodian for safety deposit boxes, controlling access and maintaining records.
- Stay informed on all credit union products and services to promote business development and service excellence.
- Participate in branch campaigns and initiatives.
- Balance automation with personalized member service, acting as a bridge between digital convenience and personal advisory support.
- Conduct member interviews, provide information on loans, investments, and deposit products, and make referrals to specialized banking services based on member needs.
- Process documentation related to product sales, ensuring correct rates and charges are applied.
Experience and Educational Requirements:
- 3-4 years in customer service or administrative roles.
- 1-2 years in retail banking with strong relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of deposit products and basic investment experience is an asset.
- Proven success in meeting sales and referral targets.
- Leadership experience, even informally.
- Experience with banking technology and mobile applications.
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of relevant courses such as CUIC or Credit Union Service Representative Accreditation.
- Progress toward or completion of a post-secondary program or relevant certification.

- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new programs quickly.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities.
- Customer service orientation and influencing skills.
- Attention to detail and numerical aptitude with accurate data entry.
- Knowledge of the financial services industry and competitor offerings.
- Financial literacy and investigative skills to identify member needs.
- Proficiency with digital solutions and adaptability.
