Job summary
A government organization in Metro Vancouver seeks an individual for an on-site role involving heavy equipment operation. Responsibilities include operating forklifts and loaders, conducting equipment safety checks, and completing operational logs. The ideal candidate will have a trades certificate or equivalent experience and demonstrate attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. This physically demanding position does not allow for remote work.
Qualifications
- Experience with measuring distance, volume, length, and weight is beneficial.
- Experience is considered an asset for this role.
- Must conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and do minor repairs.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as loaders and forklifts.
- Perform logs and conduct safety checks.
- Secure special attachments to equipment.
