Job Description
In Room Dining Cashier (Seasonal, April to October)
At Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, every guest interaction is an opportunity to create a lasting memory. As an In-Room Dining Cashier providing warm service, efficiency, and knowledge of our menu offerings to both guests and colleagues, you will add value to every transaction!

Your Job Duties Include:

1. Answer phones and assist guests in placing orders, upselling when appropriate.
2. Co-ordinate and organize daily amenities to ensure they are delivered accurately.
3. Take an active role with the training and development of new and existing staff.
4. Assist and perform server duties/functions as required.
5. Expedite orders and delegate calls to servers.
6. Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods.
7. Log, track, and distribute gratuities to servers.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:

1. Minimum 1 year Food and Beverage experience required within the last 2 years.
2. Previous leadership experience required.
3. Successful completion of Food and Beverage test required 80% and above.
4. Valid Alberta Driver’s License is required.
5. Pro Serve certificate required.
6. Previous Point of Sale System experience is required.
7. Previous In Room Dining service experience is an asset.

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
