S.i. Systems is looking for a Director, Infrastructure & Operations to supervise and lead the infrastructure and operations of both Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) across all mine sites and corporate offices.

MUST HAVES :

• 15 years of experience in IT and OT infrastructure and operations management, preferably in the mining or resource industry.
• Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Solid knowledge of IT and OT systems, including networking, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and industrial control systems.

NICE TO HAVES :

• Spanish language skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Develop and implement the global strategic vision for OT and IT infrastructure and operations.
• Build and lead a team of IT and OT professionals, fostering innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with senior management to align technology initiatives with business goals.
• Design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable IT and OT infrastructure.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of all technology systems, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud services.
• Manage disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Optimize operational processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Implement best practices and standards for IT and OT operations, such as ITIL and ISO frameworks.
• Monitor system performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Design, implement, and maintain risk and security controls to safeguard infrastructure and operations, aligning with corporate standards.
• Develop and enforce technology standards and security procedures to protect digital assets and meet cybersecurity objectives.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies, staying updated on emerging cybersecurity threats.
• Manage technology projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope and budget.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for successful project execution and partner satisfaction.
• Track project progress and report to senior management.
• Maintain relationships with technology vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and SLAs.
• Engage with internal partners to understand their technology needs and deliver solutions.
