At Pursuit , we create unforgettable memories by connecting guests and team members with extraordinary destinations.What will your compensation be?:The starting wage for this role begins at $20.00 / hourWhen does this adventure begin?:This is a full-time, year round position beginning March 3, 2025.What perks can you expect?:Join an inclusive, global team and make life-long connections.Enjoy free access to Pursuit attractions and 50% off for friends.Get discounts on hotel stays, dining, and retail.Access subsidized mental health and wellness resources.What will you do in this job?:Serve as the point of contact for staff during evenings, weekends, and holidays, providing coverage and additional support as needed.Oversee operations across six Jasper properties, ensuring seamless guest experiences and high standards of cleanliness and presentation.Supervise evening hotel operations, focusing on front office functions, and providing leadership to staff.Foster a culture of hospitality, assist in training new front desk team members, and provide hands-on support.Welcome guests warmly, monitor arrivals, and ensure a smooth experience for group and leisure travelers.Handle guest complaints effectively, taking corrective action to resolve issues and enhance satisfaction.Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations across shifts and assist with night audit procedures if needed.Ensure team members are knowledgeable about emergency procedures and prepared to respond appropriately.Carry the on-call phone several days per week to provide support in the absence of the Guest Services Manager.Respond to online reviews and guest feedback, addressing concerns and following up in person when necessary.Conduct random room inspections to uphold Pursuit’s quality standards and assist other teams as needed.What skills and experience do you need for this job?:Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide and support staff while ensuring exceptional guest experiences.Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with minimal supervision.High attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in written and spoken English; additional language skills are an asset.Strong computer skills, including proficiency in hotel management software.High school diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor’s degree or related technical education is preferred.Minimum of two years of hotel experience, with prior supervisory experience considered an asset.A valid driver’s license is beneficial but not required.Must maintain a neat, professional appearance in accordance with Pursuit’s grooming standards.What will your work environment be like?:Beautiful.
