A leading staffing firm is seeking a Solution Architect in Regina to provide infrastructure architecture expertise focused on secure, scalable, and compliant infrastructure solutions for essential services. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in solution architecture, with strong skills in Cisco and Azure projects and technical documentation. This role offers a contract lasting approximately 26 months with a focus on collaborative solution delivery.
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in solution architecture involving data centers, servers, storage, and networking.
- Proven track record of projects supporting Cisco, Azure, IBM, and storage technologies.
- Strong technical documentation skills, including Solution Design and TSD creation.

The Solution Architect will provide infrastructure architecture expertise in servers, storage, networking, and data center planning. This role requires hands-on involvement in solution design, technical specifications, and architectural consultation, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant infrastructure solutions for a leading Canadian power supplier.
- Deliver comprehensive solution designs, including system integration, security, compliance, and data flow models
- Create Technical Specification Documents (TSDs) covering infrastructure requirements, hardware/software specifications, and network configurations
- Provide advisory and consultation services to guide infrastructure decision-making
- Support and lead projects involving Cisco, Azure, storage, server, and data center products
- Collaborate with key vendors and stakeholders, including Client, IBM, and Cisco
- Ensure infrastructure solutions align with TOGAF or related enterprise architecture frameworks
- TOGAF or related certification in enterprise/solution architecture
- 5+ years’ experience in solution architecture involving data centers, servers, storage, and networking
- Proven track record of projects supporting Cisco, Azure, IBM, and storage technologies
- Strong technical documentation skills, including Solution Design and TSD creation
- Broader solution architecture experience across enterprise systems
- Utility industry background (asset management, compliance, permitting)
- Strong advisory/consultation expertise with business and technical stakeholders
