A leading IT consulting firm in Calgary, Alberta is seeking an SAP Identity Analyst to enhance and secure access to SAP systems. The role involves rationalizing and implementing SAP roles, maintaining compliance with security policies, and coordinating with the Access Advisory & Assurance team for the RBAC project. Strong expertise in IAM solutions and problem-solving skills are required. This role presents a unique opportunity to work on ensuring role-based access controls.
Job Description: The SAP Identity Analyst will focus on enhancing and securing access to SAP systems. The majority of the work will include rationalizing, designing, and implementing SAP roles, maintaining SU24, and configuring identity and access management (IAM) solutions. They will be a part of initiatives to enforce role-based access controls (RBAC), ensuring users have the correct access levels while maintaining compliance with security policies.
Top Skills: Expertise in understanding, designing, developing, and maintaining SAP roles and authorizations. Experience with IAM solutions for managing SAP user identities, including SAP Identity Management (IDM) or other identity governance tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve access-related issues. This includes the use of codes such as STUSERTRACE. Proficiency in using SAP transaction codes (T-codes), SQL, or JQL for data analysis and reporting. Ability to troubleshoot access issues and manage user provisioning and deprovisioning in SAP systems.
Project Description: This analyst role will focus mainly on the RBAC (Role Based Access Control) project. The majority of the work will involve reviewing current SAP Access groups and rationalizing/reviewing/updating their access to meet our RBAC Least-Privilege standards. The rationalized roles will need to be maintained properly in SU24 and transported through our development pipeline to be tested and implemented in Production. Coordination with our Access Advisory & Assurance team will be another major part of this as they are also heavily involved in the RBAC project and creating the Role access groups.
