The opportunity

We are seeking a Manager for our People Consulting practice in the HR M&A Transactions team. This team services clients with a full range of hands-on, operationally focused support and advice across the M&A transaction life cycle, for both buy and sell side M&A deals.

Your key responsibilities

• Manage and deliver all aspects of HR and Organizational Design services throughout the M&A transaction lifecycle, including:
  • HR due diligence and red flag reports
  • Day 1 HR function readiness
  • HR TSA services design and delivery
  • Operating model and organizational design
  • Talent planning and transitioning
  • HR project management support
• Assist in identifying risks and issues related to HR integration/separation planning.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge in the Human Resources functional area.
• Generate new business opportunities and understand Ernst & Young service lines.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with client management.
• Lead client engagement teams and work with a wide variety of clients.
• Develop and successfully manage risk, project economics, and escalations.
• Contribute to thought leadership and enhance HR M&A offering.
• Develop people by providing constructive feedback and fostering a team-oriented work environment.
• Flexibility and ability to travel for client projects.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Educated to degree level.
• Approximately 5-8 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in M&A enablement areas.
• Experience in complex transactions such as mergers and acquisitions.
• Experience in selling and delivering projects.
• Demonstrated record in driving revenue within existing clients.
• Effective organization and time management skills.
