Qualifications

  • Minimum 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification (recognized by Yoga Alliance or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of yoga basics with the ability to keep sequences simple, safe, and effective.
  • CPR / First Aid certification (an asset).
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory; proficiency in French is highly desirable.

Victory Thai Boxing & Fitness is a community-focused gym dedicated to building strength, resilience, and wellness through Muay Thai and fitness. We offer a yoga program designed specifically to complement our fitness training. Our yoga classes prioritize mobility, flexibility, and recovery, meeting students where they are — especially those who are new to yoga or have limited flexibility.

Role Overview :

We are seeking a passionate, adaptable Yoga Instructor to lead group yoga classes that focus on foundational movements, breathwork, and safe stretches. The ideal candidate will create a supportive environment where members of all levels feel welcome, while tailoring sessions to the unique needs of athletes, beginners, and everyday fitness enthusiasts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead engaging, accessible yoga classes focused on mobility, flexibility, and foundational practices.
  • Adapt sessions to meet the needs of students with varying levels of flexibility and yoga experience.
  • Provide clear instruction and modifications to ensure safety and inclusivity.
  • Foster a welcoming, encouraging, and community-centered environment.
  • Collaborate with gym staff to align yoga offerings with the overall fitness and recovery goals of members.
  • Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and strong communication with staff and clients.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification (recognized by Yoga Alliance or equivalent).
  • Previous teaching experience preferred, but not required if confident in leading group sessions.
  • Strong understanding of yoga basics with the ability to keep sequences simple, safe, and effective.
  • Knowledge of mobility and flexibility practices as they relate to fitness and athletic training.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to create an inclusive environment.
  • CPR / First Aid certification (an asset).
  • Certification as a Yoga Instructor from a recognized program is required.
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory; proficiency in French is highly desirable for bilingual instruction.
  • Strong teaching experience with the ability to adapt classes based on the participants' skill levels and needs.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service, fostering a positive environment for all students.
