Overview

We are seeking a Workday Financials Analyst to join our Toronto-based team in a hybrid, functional role supporting our Finance organization. You will serve as a key liaison between Finance and Technology teams, supporting ongoing operations and enhancements to our Workday Financials platform, with a primary focus on FDM & Financial Accounting.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong functional understanding of accounting processes, solid Workday Financials experience, and an approachable, team-oriented personality. You’ll join during an exciting time as we continue our global rollout of Workday Financials, offering an opportunity to be part of change management, training, and user enablement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support for Workday Financials, including FDM, General Ledger, and EPM
• Act as the go-to partner for the Finance team, helping translate business needs into Workday capabilities
• Support reporting and data analysis efforts, build and maintain custom reports and dashboards in Workday (no coding required)
• Assist with user training, documentation, and knowledge sharing as part of the global rollout
• Liaise with both Finance and Applications teams to ensure system integrity and optimal use of Workday
• Troubleshoot functional issues and coordinate testing for new features or changes
• Support finance-driven projects and continuous improvement initiatives
• Stay up to date on Workday releases and assess impact to existing configurations and processes

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience supporting Workday Financials in a functional capacity
• Solid understanding of Finance business processes, particularly Accounting, Reporting, FDM
• EPM experience
• Experience working with internal Finance stakeholders; ability to explain technical concepts in business terms
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; you’re approachable, responsive, and a team player
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail is key
• Workday report-building experience preferred
• CPA designation (completed or in progress) is a strong asset
• Experience with Workday in a global environment is a plus
