Job description

***The successful candidate can expect to be scheduled up to 24 hours per week and must have very flexible availability to work a combination of weekday, weekend and AM/PM shifts***

Regular Store Hours:

Mon – Sat 8:00am – 8:00pm
Sun 9:00am – 7:00pm

WELLNESS TEAM MEMBER (VITAMINS & BEAUTY)

As part of our Wellness team, you promote healthy choices by educating our customers on the benefits of vitamins and supplements and natural health and beauty products, making recommendations based on specific needs, and assisting customers discover a holistic view to health. As a product knowledge expert, you know how to help customers understand what combination of vitamins and supplements work best for them to achieve their short-term and long-term health goals. An interest and background in natural beauty products, including makeup and skin care, will add to your success when assisting customers.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Create a comfortable and inviting space by giving a warm hello to our customers as they approach our wellness department for support. Build meaningful connections with new and regular customers.
• Assist customers with their specific needs—ask questions to learn about their journey and provide suggestions to meet their goals.
• Participate in regular product knowledge trainings so you’re always prepared to answer questions and provide informed recommendations.
• Explain the basics and suggested treatment plans, including add-ons that may complement and support customers’ goals.
• Use creativity and attention to detail to make attractive and organized displays.
• Help others on their wellness journey, share knowledge about products, be a great team player, and have fun!

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Strong knowledge of vitamins and supplements (certification preferred)
• Knowledge and passion for beauty and skin care products is a plus, but not required
• You are service minded with experience in a vibrant customer service environment
• A desire to deliver great service in the retail and food service industry
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong work ethic and desire to contribute to people’s health and wellbeing
• Ability and desire to lead by example and contribute to a positive, supportive working environment
