Overview

We are hiring full-time Wait Staff to join our team at Riverbank Social, located on the Carleton University campus. As a member of the Wait Staff, you will master the art of creating an awesome customer experience. You will take orders, serve food and drinks, and help make unforgettable memories for guests. The Riverbank Social area generally operates Monday–Friday during daytime hours, with some schedules including evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Be well-versed in the menu and able to explain items, ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens; make recommendations as appropriate
• Accurately and efficiently take orders with attention to detail
• Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure customer satisfaction
• Remain alert and coordinate with the culinary team on food restrictions or allergies
• Present the bill and process payment
• Set up tables, buffet stations, and any reservations requirements
• Greet guests upon arrival
• Clear tables and maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Ensure proper use and cleanliness of equipment
• Adhere to Aramark Policies and Procedures
• May perform other duties as required
