This is a remote position, available exclusively for Canadian residents, that allows you to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients while working from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner, offering guidance on healthcare services, insurance, billing, and other related matters.
  • Provide patients with clear and accurate information regarding treatment plans, healthcare benefits, and wellness resources.
  • Work with medical professionals, insurance providers, and healthcare teams to resolve patient issues effectively.
  • Assist in scheduling appointments, providing reminders, and helping patients navigate healthcare platforms.
  • Monitor patient progress and follow up on their concerns, ensuring a continuous high level of care.
  • Educate patients about self-care practices and offer support in managing their healthcare needs.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and policies.
  • Keep accurate records of patient interactions, documentation, and follow-up actions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and medical professionals.
  • Empathetic, patient, and able to work with diverse populations in a virtual environment.
  • Proficient in using digital communication tools, telemedicine platforms, and healthcare management systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient data with professionalism.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some healthcare-related certifications or courses are preferred.
  • Previous experience in customer service or healthcare is an asset, but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience:
  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer service, healthcare, or patient advocacy role is preferred.
  • Experience with virtual communication platforms and telehealth systems is a plus.
  • A background in healthcare administration, nursing, or medical assistance is advantageous but not required.
Working Hours:
  • Full-time and part-time positions are available.
  • Flexible hours, but candidates must be able to work during standard business hours in the Canadian time zones.
