Overview

Coulson Aviation is a global aerial firefighting company that operates in Canada, the USA, Australia, and Chile. Coulson Aviation operates with a fleet of large aerial firefighting aircraft consisting of both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, enabling rapid aerial fire suppression, including initial attack and extended attack protocols. Coulson Aviation is part of the Coulson Group of companies. We are a financially stable and growing organization that has been in business for 65 years. Due to our growth and expanding footprint, we are looking to add to our team and hire a videographer & social media content creator.

Position: Videographer & Social Media Content Creator

Location: Port Alberni, BC

Responsibilities
  • Photograph, film, edit, and produce videos and photos for distribution on social media platforms, including the use of graphics, music/audio, and effects.
  • Direct, develop, and conduct on-screen interviews with employees and other subject matter experts.
  • Apply knowledge of the company direction, goals, culture, and stakeholder perspectives to pitch ideas and create original content.
  • Review and organize pre-existing raw footage for use.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in the professional/semi-professional video industry.
  • Solid working knowledge of social media platforms such as TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Strong filming and editing skills.
  • Knowledge of Photoshop and photography.
  • Knowledge of motion graphics.
  • Creatively driven and passionate about producing top work.
  • Positive attitude, high energy, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work with no supervision.
  • Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
  • Living in, or willing to relocate to, Port Alberni, BC.
  • Must have a valid passport and no travel restrictions.
Benefits
