Qualifications

• Must have Class 5 Non-GDL license with clean driver abstract.

Responsibilities

• Prepares work zone with appropriate equipment.
• Assists with organizing specified set-up.
• Unloads incoming packages manually or using a machine.
• Checks quantity and condition of delivery units.
• Scans packages using correct equipment.
• Sorts packages according to defined processes.
• Fills out documentation and validates information.
• Repositions vehicles according to the parking plan.
• Cleans work environment during or after operations.
• Reports any malfunctions to the supervisor.

Job Summary

This position performs the shifting and parking of package delivery vehicles. This position moves and maneuvers package delivery vehicles into position for the hub and preload package handling operations. This position may include other work as directed.

Responsibilities

• Prepares work zone with suitable equipment in accordance with current guidelines.
• Assists with organizing specified set-up.
• Unloads incoming packages manually or using a machine.
• Checks the quantity and condition of delivery units.
• Scans packages using the correct equipment.
• Sorts packages according to the defined processes (UPS department, destination, etc.) then stores them in the areas provided according to categories.
• Fills out documentation or records and validates information on the appropriate media.
• Repositions vehicles according to the established parking plan.
• Cleans work environment during or after operations.
• Reports any malfunctions to the supervisor.

Primary job location: 1740 Dublin Ave, Winnipeg, MB

Normal Scheduled hours: 5pm-9pm (flexibility on start and finish times considered an asset, overtime when required).
