Overview

We’re searching for a Trainee - Insurance Advisor. Westland Insurance Group Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a Trainee - Insurance Advisor in Cranbrook, BC at the Cranbrook Street office. We are looking for a career-minded individual who is focused on growing their career in insurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge to promote and educate clients on Insurance products.
• Practice anticipating and interpreting client needs, and complete various insurance transactions.
• Be frontline in answering questions as they arise and communicate product benefits that best match client needs.
• Participate hands-on as a member of the team, turning client concerns into opportunities.
• Work with licensing requirements and training plans to obtain the Level 1 Insurance license.

What You Will Receive

Compensation: The hourly rate for this role is $22.06-$27.25 on a 37.5 hour work week, with an increase upon licensing and movement into the Insurance Advisor position. Licensing is typically achieved within 3 months from the date of hire but is dependent on individual achievement.

Westland provides support to all Trainees as they work to obtain licensing. As a Trainee you will have licensing costs covered and will be provided with a training plan to ensure you’re fully supported throughout the six-week training period and beyond.
