Our client, a group of publicly funded health organizations, is seeking a Temporary Full-Time Receptionist for their Collingwood location. This role is expected to run for at least two weeks but could be extended as needed. Straight day shift Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm with wage starting at $18.00 per hour.

About The Role

The selected candidate for the Receptionist role will be responsible for greeting all individuals with a smile and warm welcome. This role includes basic reception activities including routing calls, emails, and in person visits within a multi-tenant building; scheduling meeting rooms for appointment bookings; and assisting in keeping the office clean and presentable. Other responsibilities include:

  • Greeting, Assisting & Responding Appropriately to Visitors
  • Answering Incoming Telephone Calls & Providing Response or Redirection to the Appropriate Staff Member
  • Opening, Sorting, & Distributing Electronic & Physical Mail to Various Departments
  • Maintaining Office Visitor Logs & Distributing as Necessary
  • Performing Other Duties as Assigned

  • Ability & Comfort Using Computer Systems (Microsoft Suite, Outlook, etc.)
  • Comfort Speaking to Individuals Across Wide Spectrum of Cultures & Demographics
