Basic Job Functions:
Performs, as directed, all necessary maintenance of the facility, equipment, and grounds in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
Education / Experience:
- High school diploma / GED and 3+ years maintenance experience OR
- High school diploma / GED and 5+ years of experience in a related field OR
- High school diploma / GED and 2-year technical school & 3+ years' experience
- Journeyman's Card from an accredited apprenticeship program preferred.
Required Skills / Competencies:
- Knowledge of manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of CMMS is a plus but not required if coming in from the outside. Internal candidates need to know the CMMS system.
- Project leader experience is a plus.
- Proven communication skills.
- Ability to read prints and suggest modifications as required.
- Proven electro/mechanical skills.
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, vacuum systems, and robotic systems.
- Ability to follow safe work practices and full understanding of LOTO procedures.
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
- Capable of troubleshooting systems at a detailed level.
- Full knowledge of all preventive maintenance (PM) procedures.
- Must be capable of pulling reports and entering data into/from the CMMS system.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Complete daily assignments as scheduled and directed.
- Perform on-site service and repair of equipment.
- Meet at least 90% of estimated repair times.
- Interface with other departments.
- Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety practices.
- Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
- May train other employees.
- Fill in as team lead if no tech III is available.
- Read electrical and mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
- Perform other assignments as required.
- Manage waste generated from work performed, including hazardous waste and drums, ensuring proper labeling, handling, and disposal in coordination with WWT Associates and EHS.
- Adhere to safety procedures, maintain good housekeeping, and wear PPE.
- Report hazardous waste management concerns to EHS.
Reporting Relationships:
- This position will not have direct reports.
- If hired for a new plant before start-up, extended training (60-80%) in another plant in Ohio or Alabama may be required.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, or walk for up to 12 hours per day.
- Occasional climbing stairs.
- Lift, push, or pull up to 58 pounds occasionally, and up to 27 pounds frequently.
- Repetitive use of hands for grasping, lifting, handling, carrying.
- Visual acuity of 20/40 in each eye.
- Ability to wear PPE, including respirators if required.
