This position works out of our Ottawa Ontario location in the Point of Care Diagnostics division. Our Point of Care diagnostic portfolio spans key health and therapeutic areas including infectious disease cardiometabolic informatics and this role you will support Production and Non-Standard operations. Plans and organizes work and initiates / maintains work schedule. Establish priorities of work assignment input as needed. Solve a wide range of problems requiring some interpretation of defined procedures and practices. Select methods and practices with guidance from Senior Tech Team Leader and Supervisor to obtain robust thorough and practical solutions. Maintain Test lab reference instruments.
College Diploma (2-year program) or equivalent work experience.
1 3 years relevant work experience.
Ability to plan organize and prioritize own daily work to meet established schedule and to multi-task.
Demonstrated initiative problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills.
Ability to form and develop interpersonal professional relationship; display socially and professionally appropriate behavior.
Ability to work independently and in groups.
Ability to quickly gain knowledge understanding or skills and willingness to learn.
Computer literate.
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma concepts is an asset.
Shift : 4X4 B Shift Extended Rotating four days on four days off from 6 : 30 am to 6 : 30 pm.
