Job Summary and Requirements

This posting will be used to fill 1 term full-time positions working 75 hours bi‑weekly. It will establish a 12‑month eligibility list which may be used to fill similar positions.

This job is based in the thriving and diverse city of Whitehorse in the beautiful Yukon.

Your Role

In this position you will be responsible for providing support for improved computerized systems and related processes for the Continuing Care division’s functions, including maintaining legal health care records. You will be recommending, implementing and managing information technology and business solutions in order to improve the delivery of division‑wide systems and related processes, including preparing reports, correspondence, briefing materials etc. to Senior Management.

Essential Qualifications
  • Business or Office Administration Diploma
  • Experience in electronic record management system(s)
  • Experience working office administration, including processing time sheets, minute taking, and record management would be an asset
  • Experience with GoldCare or other Healthcare related systems would be an asset

Job Requirements

This job requires you to perform, and/or be exposed to, the following: Some exposure to dissatisfied systems users and frequent interruptions, occasional lifting 50lb, occasional availability for work on the weekends and evenings for systems maintenance and upgrades, travel within Whitehorse.
