As the Swimming Pool Foreman, you'll be the driving force behind our projects, ensuring exceptional quality, efficiency, and leadership on-site. Responsibilities include complete construction of swimmingpools, including site preparation, excavation, installation of plumbing and filtration systems, linerapplication, deck construction, and ensuring compliance with industry standard and building codes, allwhile adhering to design plans and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

Experience building and plumbing Vinyl over Steel pools

Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.

Surveying the property, marking out the pool area, and preparing the ground for excavation. Operate heavy machinery for the excavation of the pool to the required dimensions and specifications.

Operative heavy machinery to grade and level areas surrounding the pool site. Assembly of pool walls and components to specification.

Installing all necessary pipes for water circulation, including drains, returns, and skimmers. Installing the pool filter, pump, and associated equipment.

Pouring concrete for footer and equipment pad.

Trowel and level concrete base material for construction of pool bottom.

Install forms for the surrounding pool deck, including steps and coping.

Install pool tile, lighting, and other accessories.

Inspect all aspects of the construction to ensure quality standards are met.

Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.

Adhering to industry standards and building codes.

Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently during construction activities. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Experience

Understanding of basic construction principles, including grading, excavation, and concrete work. Familiarity with plumbing systems, electrical wiring related to pools, and filtration systems.

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks like lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.

Identifying and resolving issues that may arise during construction.

Ensuring precise measurements and quality workmanship throughout the project. Effectively communicating with clients, subcontractors, and other team members The ability to operate heavy equipment safely is highly desirable.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role. Physical Requirements: The ability to lift/move up to 100 pounds, the ability to stoop, crawl, kneel,bend at the neck and waist, twist at the neck and waist, grasp, use fine manipulation, reach above shoulder height, lift and stand for long periods of time, (up to 10 hours per day), the ability to work outdoors in extreme heat and cold, walk on uneven ground, in dusty and dirty conditions.

What We Offer

Full Time Position

Competitive pay at $35.00 to $45.00 per hour, based on experience.
