Supervision Control Center Integration Engineer

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your technical integration expertise in a new cutting‑edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

You’ll play a vital role in developing the SCC System, which comprises subsystems such as SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition), ATS (Automated Train Supervision), MS (Management System), and Data Center Infrastructure (IT Operations). Day‑to‑day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as the SCC System Team and project teams), maintain integration platforms, and develop or enhance automation tools for integration and analysis, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of integrating, verifying, and troubleshooting software/system data and infrastructure, but also managing configuration control and performance KPIs.

Responsibilities
  • Executing integration tasks per Alstom V‑cycle
  • Integrating, verifying, and troubleshooting software/system data and infrastructure
  • Identifying and reporting integration issues, and managing change requests with the SCC System Team
  • Maintaining integration platforms, configuration control, and performance KPIs
  • Developing or enhancing automation tools for integration and analysis
  • Staying updated on project changes and synchronizing within the SCC Project
  • Attending team meetings and providing clear status updates
  • Actively participating as a collaborative team member, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Science
  • 7-10y experience in a similar field
  • Experience integrating Railway ATS, complex, or IT systems is advantageous
  • Fluent English and effective communication/presentation skills
  • Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, documentation, and proactive work ethic
  • A proven ability to keep detailed records of troubleshooting steps and outcomes, ensuring traceability during high‑pressure situations
  • Proven ability to work well as part of a team, fostering open communication and mutual support to achieve integration goals
  • Knowledge of databases (MS SQL), OPC‑UA, Windows OS (configuration, settings, and security)
  • Experience with Python, scripting languages (PowerShell, Batch), source control (GitLab), DevOps tools (Ansible, Terraform), and virtualization (VMware)
