What are you doing this summer? Work within the City’s GIS and mapping system using ArcGIS Pro to consolidate and integrate electrical infrastructure data from as-built drawings and various sources of existing GIS data.
Employment Dates: Early May through to late August
Hours of Work: 6:30am to 2:30pm (may vary depending on assignment)
Days of Work: Monday to Friday (weekends may be required for some assignments)
Duties - Union
This role involves interpreting and digitizing electrical as-built drawings, validating spatial accuracy, and reconciling discrepancies between historical records and current GIS information to enhance the accuracy and reliability of the City’s corporate electrical GIS layers, particularly for underground streetlight assets.
