Student Research Assistant

School of Indigenous Governance, Ayamdigut (Whitehorse) Campus.
Salary: $25.11 to $31.40.
Employment Opportunity No.: 25.130.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support research design and planning.
  • Assist in reviewing and summarizing literature, policies and examples of anticolonial approaches in post‑secondary contexts.
  • Help build and maintain relationships with Yukon First Nations partners.
  • Assist with organizing project meetings and knowledge‑sharing events.
  • Contribute to report writing and project documentation.

This position is ideal for a student with strong research and communication skills who is passionate about Indigenous self‑determination in education. Experience working with Indigenous communities or knowledge systems is considered an asset. Preference will be given to Indigenous students.
