  • Support the preparation of construction drawings, technical specifications, and comprehensive design reports.

  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, technologists, and clients to ensure coordinated project delivery.

  • Participate in site visits, construction reviews, and inspections, documenting field observations and preparing detailed reports.

  • Conduct code reviews and ensure designs comply with applicable Canadian building codes and standards (NBCC, CSA).

  • Assist in preparing cost estimates, proposals, and tender documents.

  • Contribute to a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within projects.

  • Perform engineering calculations for structural elements (beams, columns, foundations, connections) under guidance.

  • Develop engineering models and simulations to analyze structural behavior.

  • Prepare technical memos and correspondence related to project issues or design clarifications.

  • Review and verify shop drawings and submittals from contractors for compliance with design intent.

  • Conduct research on materials, construction methods, and structural systems to support project development.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, calculations, and design records.

  • Represent Ecora professionally, upholding our core values of integrity, collaboration, quality, and environmental responsibility.

  • Participate actively in internal technical discussions and design reviews.
