Job description

The Staffing Clerk supports scheduling services related to daily operational staffing, replacements, vacation scheduling, staff availability, and HR information systems, including reporting and special projects requiring scheduling support.

Service and Assignment: Finance and Human Resources
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Shift and Hours of Work: 1.0 FTE - full-time - days, currently 07:15 - 15:30 / 08:00 - 16:15
Pay Scale: As per CUPE Collective Agreement
Specifications: Assignment and hours are subject to change based on operational needs.
Closing Date: Open until filled

Required Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of secondary school education;
  • Formal education in administration skills or equivalent work experience;
  • Experience working with the public and providing customer service;
  • Proficiency in personal computers, word processing, and data entry;
  • Experience creating reports in Excel and handling routine correspondence;
  • Knowledge of office practices and filing procedures;
  • At least six months of scheduling experience in a healthcare setting.

Abilities and Skills:

  • Bilingual in French and English is required;
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills;
  • Ability to handle pressure and adapt to unexpected demands;
  • Understanding of Collective Agreement provisions;
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills;

This position is bilingual (French/English). Employees may hold multiple positions across different facilities, with total hours not exceeding 1.0 FTE.
