Job Description

• Using specialized equipment and techniques.
• Clean and refurbish building exteriors, carpets, chimneys, industrial equipment, ventilation systems, windows, and other surfaces.
• All surfaces, including bathrooms, common kitchens, desks, and conference rooms, must be cleaned and disinfected.
• Use cleaning machines to clean carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture on the premises of customers or in carpet and upholstery cleaning businesses.
• Hand tools and industrial vacuum cleaners can be used to remove soot and creosote from chimneys and fireplaces.
• Hand tools and industrial vacuum cleaners are used to clean the ducts, vents, and filters of furnaces in homes and commercial buildings.
• Sandblasting, pressurized steam, or hydro blasting equipment can be used to clean the exteriors of buildings, tanks, chimneys, and industrial equipment.
• Interior and exterior windows, as well as other glass surfaces in low-rise and high-rise buildings, should be washed and cleaned.
• Clean the inside and outside of cars, buses, streetcars, railway cars, and subway cars.
