Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Daily review of MRP report and work with Suppliers to determine a reasonable quantity and to coordinate the timing and means of delivery
  • Handle any issues related to supplier service, such as poor product quality or delivery delays
  • Find solutions to budget limitations, vendor errors, and other problems as they arise
  • Daily review of tracking orders from supplier and follow up for discrepancy
  • Ensure that the appropriate goods are transferred from 3rd party warehouse to main warehouse in a timely manner
  • Review Monthly Demand Forecast to determine long lead time items and process blanket orders accordingly
  • Request monthly inventory report from key suppliers to keep an inventory of goods on hand and orders work in progress in line with requirement
  • Seek out ways to save money on the procurement of goods and report increases or changes in lead time to team
  • Work with various departments to determine the amount and type of goods required
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a food manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 2 years experience with DEACOM ERP System
  • Experience in managing over 2000 SKUs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
