As a Specialist, Digital Health, you will play a pivotal role in shaping, coordinating, and managing projects that redefine healthcare through technology-driven solutions. Reporting to the Director, Digital Health you will serve as a key resource and collaborator within a dynamic team. You’ll play a central part in supporting digital health initiatives, leveraging leading-edge planning and development methodologies. Your work will help implement innovative strategies, drive operational excellence, and support the delivery of transformative projects that matter to stakeholders across the region.
Coordinate and manage complex planning projects, ensuring smooth implementation and alignment with program objectives.
Assist in project management, research, engagement, and program evaluation to support the Digital Health team’s success.
Support the execution of Ontario Health’s regional initiatives, partnering with a range of stakeholders to achieve organizational goals and positive outcomes.
Provide operational support, consolidate team reports and metrics, and facilitate knowledge exchange activities to boost adoption of new frameworks and solutions.
Define program/operations scope and deliverables with the Director, Digital Health, contributing subject-matter expertise.
Implement required frameworks, methodologies, and standards to ensure best-in-class project delivery.
Develop processes, tools, templates, and technology in collaboration with leadership.
Identify and escalate operational risks, recommending creative and practical solutions.
Coordinate program processes in compliance with organizational standards.
Assess progress using standards and metrics, and share insights through focused reporting.
Maintain accurate, timely program documentation.
Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to maximize program reach and impact.
Education and Experience
Post-secondary education (Diploma or Bachelor) in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Digital Health, Information Systems/Information Technology (IS/IT); or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
1-3 years experience working in a healthcare setting or relevant field.
Knowledge and Skills
Broad knowledge of planning/analysis methodologies and ability to make effective recommendations.
Understanding of Ontario’s healthcare system dynamics and experience with quality improvement initiatives.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; thrive in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
