Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and lead infrastructure automation, cloud provisioning, and system administration efforts in a secure, enterprise-grade environment. This role requires deep expertise in AWS services, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and Linux systems, with a strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation and Serverless Framework.
• Configure and manage AWS API Gateway, S3 buckets, and S3 archival strategies.
• Automate system provisioning and configuration using Packer and Ansible.
• Support and integrate with Atlassian tools such as JIRA and OpsGenie for incident and project management.
• Lead and execute AWS data migration strategies across environments.
• Administer and optimize Linux systems in cloud and hybrid environments.
• Ensure systems and processes comply with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise-scale deployments and operations.

Qualifications (Required)

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including CloudFormation, API Gateway, S3, and Serverless.
• Proficiency in GitHub Actions, Packer, and Ansible.
• Solid understanding of Linux system administration.
• Experience working in enterprise organizations with complex infrastructure.
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and secure cloud architecture.
• Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, OpsGenie) for agile and incident workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred skills

• AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
• Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK stack).
