Overview

Social Worker - Safeguarding & Care Team in Morden, UK, earning £39.57 hourly for a full-time position over a three-month period. This role focuses on improving the lives of vulnerable children and families, ensuring safety, wellbeing, and positive development for young people.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality social work services to vulnerable children, young people, and their families or carers, aligning with the goals of the Children, Schools & Families department.
• Manage a caseload of Children & Families requiring assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of actions to effectively deploy resources for safeguarding.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Support families to enhance their resilience and capacity to care for their children.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports.
