What you will do
  • Conduct single assessments, child protection enquiries, and pre-birth risk assessments.
  • Respond to new cases entering Children’s Social Care, ensuring all assessments are completed to a high standard and within prescribed timescales.
  • Manage Child Protection (CP), Child in Need (CIN), private law, and initiate care proceedings when necessary.
  • Work within a structured team of four pods, participating in a four-week duty rota that requires office presence during duty weeks.
