The SIOP – Business Analyst plays a key role in enabling effective production and demand planning through accurate setup, maintenance, and governance of planning and configuration data in ERP. This role ensures that all material, planning, and scheduling parameters are properly configured to support end‑to‑end visibility, supply‑demand alignment, and site readiness for production execution. The analyst serves as a subject matter expert for planning data structures within ERP — bridging demand management, supply chain, engineering, and production planning to ensure that planning systems and parameters accurately reflect operational needs.
