Description:

Examination of an advanced topic in the design of urbanism. The focus of the course changes depending upon the instructors research specialty or current issues in urban design.

Class Schedule:

L0101 - Monday 12:00-15:00

S1 L0102 - Tuesday 18:00-21:00


Sessional dates of appointment: January 1, 2024 to April 30, 2024

Estimate of the course enrolment: Approximately 40 students

Salary: Sessional Lecturer I - $9,457.90; Sessional Lecturer I Long Term - $9,930.79; Sessional Lecturer II - $10,121.77; Sessional Lecturer II Long Term - $10,326.62; Sessional Lecturer III - $10,362.76; Sessional Lecturer III Long Term - $10,570.02 (inclusive of vacation pay)

Minimum Qualifications: Graduate degree in architecture, landscape architecture, urban design, architectural history, or art history.

Description of Duties: P reparation and delivery of course material; managing digital teaching materials, supervision of teaching assistants; preparation and delivery of assignments, tests, final examinations, and deferred final examinations; marking of student work, submission of grades, dealing with student enquiries, appeals and petitions, and student contact hours.
