Job Overview

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements for IT, HR, and Security Incident Response (SIR) modules, creating user stories, and ensuring adherence to the agile process. This role requires a strong understanding of ServiceNow capabilities and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, HR, and SIR departments to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements
  • Conduct workshops and interviews to understand business processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure that requirements are clearly articulated and aligned with business objectives
User Story Creation
  • Write clear and concise user stories with well‑defined acceptance criteria
  • Ensure that user stories are understood and agreed upon by both the development team and stakeholders
  • Break down high‑level requirements into smaller, actionable pieces
Agile Process Adherence
  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure timely delivery of user stories.
  • Collaborate with the product owner to prioritize the backlog and ensure alignment with business goals
Solution Design and Implementation
  • Collaborate with the ServiceNow development team to design solutions that meet business needs
  • Ensure that proposed solutions are technically feasible and aligned with best practices
  • Coordinate and participate in testing activities, including the development of test plans and scripts
Documentation and Training
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, processes, and solutions
  • Provide training and support to end‑users as needed
Qualifications
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with ServiceNow.
Education
  • Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow, particularly in IT, HR, and SIR modules.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and practices.
  • Experience with creating user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem‑solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS).
  • Experience with ServiceNow Agile 2.0.
