Overview

ADP is hiring a Senior Workforce Planning Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Workforce Planning Consultant to provide strategic workforce management expertise and support across multiple business lines. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, leveraging strong business knowledge, analytical skills, and workforce expertise to drive decisions that optimize performance and align with organizational goals. While this is a senior-level role, it does not include direct people management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a strategic partner to multiple business lines, providing workforce insights, and influencing decisions to support both short-term and long-term business objectives.
  • Lead workforce planning, capacity forecasting, and scheduling analysis to enable operational efficiency and service excellence.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights for senior leaders, informing resource allocation and short-term adjustments as well as long-term workforce strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align workforce strategies with business priorities and client needs.
  • Build strong relationships with senior management, clearly communicating workforce impacts and helping leaders stay on priorities.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, automation, and process improvements in workforce management practices.
  • Represent the Workforce Management function in executive discussions, providing thought leadership and guidance on strategic workforce planning.
Qualifications / Requirements

Experience:

  • 7+ years of business operations, consulting, or workforce management experience, with strong exposure to strategy and planning.
  • Proven ability to communicate with impact, influence senior stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex data for decision-makers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with data, models, and forecasting tools.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead initiatives cross-functionally.

*Quebec candidates: While French is required for Quebec-based roles, use of the English language is also required due to the global nature of the business and the need to interact with ADP’s headquarters and international sites.
