Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Vendor Manager to develop a vendor management practice in support of a multi-year technology modernization program (Remote with travel to Winnipeg)

Qualifications

Must Haves :

• 8+ years of experience as a Vendor Manager in IT
• Experience creating vendor governance frame works
• Experience creating vendor management best practices (contract management, performance reviews, analysis)
• Experience creating master service agreements including service levels, statements of work, contract change orders and audit requirements for IT Vendors
• Experience managing vendor performance accordance with contract commitments, and review negotiated rates and volume thresholds against aggregated spend, invoice charges, and financial commitments
• Have supported VM alignment to IT Asset Management processes and governance via Software Asset Management (SAM) tools.

Nice to Have :

• Insurance experience
• Finance stakeholder management experience
• Strong financial acumen to understand budgets, actuals, forecasts,
• Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting, supply chain management or relevant field required.
