Reporting to the Superintendent, Health & Safety and working a two weeks on/two weeks off schedule at the Ekati Diamond Mine, the Senior Specialist is responsible for managing technical work and providing technical advice. This role assists and coordinates the environment personnel in the execution of sampling and monitoring programs and is responsible for the safety of these personnel working at the mine. In addition, the Senior Specialist assists in the collection of data for regulatory reporting requirements, works closely with other departments to coordinate operations, oversees environment equipment management at the mine site, and directs response to wildlife activity.
