WHAT TO EXPECT :

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our Algorithms, Performance, and Tools (APT) team. You will contribute to our open-source SDK for solving complex problems on quantum and hybrid systems, focusing on maintaining and upgrading our Ocean SDK and QPU development tools. Experience with quantum computing or research background is highly beneficial.

What you’ll do :

• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Contribute to open-source software and work on QPU development tools.
• Research and conduct experiments on our QPU hardware.
• Support research projects and enhance the QPU pipeline.
• Maintain and improve software for internal teams, customers, and the developer community.

What you’ll bring :

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, or equivalent experience with several years of software development experience.
• Strong Python skills; knowledge of C++ is a plus.
• Familiarity with quantum computing or quantum software development.
• Research mindset with ability to understand and implement research papers.
• Experience with end-to-end software projects, APIs, and open-source contributions.
• Knowledge of linear algebra, graph theory, and combinatorial optimization.

Compensation :
